Terms & Conditions

Please provide photo identification upon check-in.  Only the person whose name the reservation is under is allowed to check-in.  A major credit card is required upon check-in. 
 
Damage Deposit: Please make sure to read and understand the following information. After you fully understand the next statements, please write your initial names right next to your preferred choice and sign.

There is a mandatory security deposit, please choose one option only below.
 

 $250.00 Security Deposit. It will be charged on a major credit card under your name. It will be fully returned not later than thirty days upon receipt of a satisfactory report that there has been no damage or loss to the property. Any charges made to the security deposit will appear within thirty days and you will be notified immediately. Similarly, in the unlikely event that big damages or loss occurs that cannot be resolved between you, the guest, and the management property, further proceedings may be instigated against you by the property owner.
 
$85.00 Waiver Protection Plan. covers unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay, provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out.  The policy will pay a maximum benefit of $3000.00. This fee is non-refundable
 

Loss of security deposit 

 

The management company will inspect the property for loss, damage, cleanliness etc. following your departure. The lead renter will be liable for all costs resulting from this inspection other than any costs arising from acceptable wear and tear. Any loss, damage, cleaning fees or other expenses exceeding the security deposit amount will be charged from the major credit card used.
 
The following list covers some of the more common reasons for security deposit deductions, but the list is by no means complete. 
 
Smoking inside the property.
Damage to the home and/or inventory items or missing inventory items.
Excessive garbage left in the home.
Late check out without prior arrangement.
Used diapers, used sanitary items, discarded medical items left for the cleaners to remove.
BBQ cleaning (except if the BBQ was hired from the management company or other rental company).
Bent pool poles.
Holes or tears in pool screen enclosure.
Coins/other metal objects/toys/trash/other items left on bottom of pool.
Blocked toilets or sinks caused through misuse.
Stained linens & towels (bleach/blood/drinks etc.)
Carpet & furniture stains requiring professional cleaning.
Relocation of furniture (beds/tables/nightstands), mattresses, pool furniture etc.
Loss of keys or key box (There is a $50-200 locksmith fee for lost keys).
Non emergency call outs after hours for any issues caused by renter negligence.
Animals in the property. 
I agree to be responsible for damage caused to the property, or its contents, as a result of negligence or abuse.   This includes any additional necessary cleaning and replacement of items damaged that is not covered under the Security Deposit Protection. 
 
The property is to be used for lawful purposes; renters shall abide by local laws, not disturb the peace or litter the premises.  House parties are prohibited.  Reservations which violate this agreement will result in immediate removal from the premises as well as loss of all rental monies paid and security deposits.
 
Any and all damage found upon check in must be reported to AHG Inc / TripAway Properties within 24 hours, failure to do so shall constitute as waiver of any claims regarding condition of the premises.   The movement of furniture is not allowed, please return all items as they were upon check in.  Premises are to be vacated in as good condition as they were found in the commencement of rental term. 

Changes and Substitutions to Reservations 

Only prior to arrival changes will be allowed and are subject to availability; appropriate fees may apply.  Management strives to comply with all reservation requests to specific vacation residences, however due to change in residence ownership, unforeseen mechanical problems or any other circumstances; we cannot guarantee a specific rental property. We reserve the right to change assignments without prior notice or liability should a residence become unavailable.
 
In case that a passenger must be move to another location or property  due to an emergency, health ,security ,life threatening  or maintenance issues  at the property currently occupied by them ,passenger will be notify first. In case that passenger become unreachable and there are reasonable attempts to do so, in order to protect the passenger and its family integrity AHG Inc / TripAway Properties will have the rights to move passenger belongings securely and diligently to the new location without passengers authorization. 
 
 

Cancellation Policy 

There are no refunds for early departures or no shows.  No refund for cancellations made within 30 days prior to arrival. Passenger that fail to check-in or notify delay for check in at the appointed day may lose its reservation and will be subject to relocation  to another property if there are availabilities.
 
 

After-Hours Check In

Florida Law requires all guests to register within 24 hours of arrival on the premises.  Please be advised should you arrive outside of office hours, you MUST return to our offices the next business day in order to complete your registration.  Failure to do so may result in denied access to the property.  

 
 
Check-out
 

As previously stated, the check out time is 10:00 a.m.  I understand that failure to comply will result in a late check out fee to be held against the security deposit and is not covered by the Property Protection Plan.  All keys must be left in property lock box upon departure (unless otherwise instructed).  Gate cards and pool keys must be left in the property.

 
Mandatory Cleaning fee
 

There is a mandatory cleaning fee for every reservation. Rates varies depends on the size of the vacation home. Similarly, daily maid service is available upon request at reservation request.

 
Smoking
 

For the comfort and safety of guests, all properties offered by AHG Inc / TripAway Properties are non-smoking.  It is only permitted outside of the unit, where a patio is available.  Should evidence of smoking be found, an additional non refundable cleaning fee will apply.
 

Animals and Pets

Animals and pets are not permitted in the property and there are no exceptions. Failure to abide by this policy will incur in extra cleaning charges and a fee starting at $500.00. Therefore, if at any time an unauthorized pet is found at the property a fee will be applied automatically.

 
 
Pool heater
 

The heating of pool and/ or spas is optional and is available for a non refundable fee. Under no circumstances, passenger can touch or play , turn on or turn off the heating system , failure to comply with this request may result into a malfunction of the heating system  and charges for reparation  cost will apply .  Please be advised that should the weather temperature reach 55°F (13°C) or below, the pool heating equipment will not work property and in many instances may shut off automatically.  We cannot be held liable or responsible for natural weather changes or conditions (Mother Nature).  Pool heating must be requested prior to arrival, as not all AHG Inc / TripAway Properties rentals offer this service and it may not be available in the home you have been allocated to.  Payment for this extra service should be made at least 72 hours prior your arrival.

 
 
Accommodation 
 

The property may only be occupied by the number of people indicated by the guest on the booking form.  Most of our properties accommodate two people per bedroom plus two people in the living area if a sofa bed has been provided. An additional charge of $75.00 will be made per additional person per night when the number of people occupying the property does not agree with the booking form.  I also understand that failure to provide valid identification, mislead information, be under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the check in, and or failure to report pets companions may cause the cancelation of my reservation and or denied to enter to the property; I confirm I will not refuse valid and legitimate charges against my account as stated in the terms and conditions of this agreement.  
The property will be available to guests after 4.00 pm local time on the day of arrival. Early arrival and late departure is not possible unless previously agreed. Failure to comply will result in an additional charge. The property must be vacated by 10.00 am local time on the day of departure. There is a charge of $75.00 if you decide to stay until twelve and a full day rental rate after 12:00p.m. If you decide to extend your rental stay and changes cannot be made, we may assign you a new home. An extra cleaning fee will be requested for the second property. 
An adult must accompany guests under the age of 21. 
 It may be necessary for staff or agents of our management company to enter the premises during your stay there in order to perform routine maintenance or repairs. 
In the event of failure or breakdown of property amenities, the property manager will attempt to repair or replace any items found to be inoperable as quickly as possible, but cannot guarantee repair will be completed during your stay.  
No compensation will be given for temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, cable or telephone.  Outages will be reported immediately and all efforts will be made to have them restored as soon as possible.  The operation and maintenance of these items is out of the control of AHG Inc / TripAway Properties.  
Should expenses be incurred by the property manager to repair damage, replace missing items, pay for extra cleaning or any other violations of the rental policy as a result of your stay, we reserve the right to apply the deposit to offset expenses and administrative fees.  
AHG Inc / TripAway Properties may not be held responsible for accident or injury to guests or for the loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.  We strongly advise our guests to secure all valuables, maintain all doors locked and make use of the alarm systems in the properties (if available). 

 
Liability limitation 
 

We accept no responsibility for and shall not be liable in respect of any death, injury, loss or damage or alterations, delays or changes arising from circumstances outside our control such as war or threat of war, fire or adverse weather conditions, government action, technical problems with transport, closure or congestion at airports, cancellations or changes of schedules by airlines or theft from the property, both interior and exterior. 
In the unlikely event of us being negligent and/or in breach of our contract with you, our liability shall be limited to the cost of your booking with us. 
We accept no responsibility or liability for loss or damage to personal items while traveling to the property, staying in the property or after departure from the property.
